We've had a great first summer season under new ownership at Bluebell Lodge. 5-star reviews continue to roll in as more and more people discover the beauty of the Solway Coast and our comfortable and inviting space.

I recently hosted family visiting from Canada at the lodge. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend exploring the local sights including Threave Gardens, the Dumfries Museum and Rockcliffe beach. No visit to Kippford would be complete without a trip to The Anchor for a nice meal, delicious Chinese takeaway from Rose Garden, and ice cream from the Mr. Whippy truck at Rockcliffe.  We missed the space and serenity of the lodge a few days later when we shared a single hotel room in Edinburgh!
